Coverage on a Cruise
Manulife provides retiree medical coverage whilst on a cruise, i.e. at sea. Manulife will provide a written confirmation of this coverage, if required by a cruise operator.

Manulife Insurance Scheme
IATA provides Medical Insurance through Manulife for employees who have opted to remain in the medical benefits plan on retirement. For retirees, two plans are provided, known as Plan C and Plan D. Plan D applies to those who retired prior to 1 January 2008 and who elected to remain in that plan, while Plan C applies to all retirees who retired after that date. There are minor differences between the two plans.
Claims
Effective January 1st 2008, only the new claim forms and locations are valid. You can display, fill and print the English Claim Form or French Claim Form on this site.
Similar forms are to be found on Manulife web site where you can set up direct claims payments to your bank account.
Claims for Dental work can only be made under Manulife scheme as a result of an accident.
On-Line Claims
You can submit your Manulife claims "on-line" with no need to send in your receipts by mail. You need to keep your receipts in case of spot checking. This function is available for certain types of claims - please log into your Manulife account and check it out if you wish to find out how it works. They can pay you directly to your bank account (for all claims) which makes submitting claims and receiving payments very easy and paperless! For the latest information effective 25 July 2011

If you wish to e-mail Manulife you must go to their web site and then log on to your new personal access. page. There is a function that allows you to “send a note” and specify if you wish to have the response by email , telephone or postal mail.
